There is plenty of fun to be had and activities to be experienced while you’re at the ranch, but we know you may want to participate in guided offerings and adventures off the ranch. Below are off-ranch activities that are available through outside vendors for additional fees.

Adventures

Montana is famous for its blue-ribbon waters and hard-fighting trout. Let the ranch be your base camp as you explore the many lakes and rivers of the area. Float the scenic Swan River in a raft in pursuit of native trout. Learn to fly-fish on the Flathead River, where the river and views are grand. Grab a packed lunch from the kitchen and board a fishing boat for a day of trolling for lake trout. The lodge is happy to introduce you to friendly and skilled guides who will ensure that you and your family have the best fishing story of the day at happy hour.

A wonderful way to indulge, unplug and unwind during your dude ranch vacation, we work with professional masseuses to provide guests with on-property massages. Services include hot stone, rejuvenating deep tissue and more.  

Hit the snow-fed waters of the Middle Fork of the Flathead River – which runs along the southern boundary of Glacier National Park – on a guided whitewater rafting adventure. Transportation is included and we’ll send you with dry towels and a sack lunch.

Guests of all levels head into the ranch’s mountains for instruction and practice with some of the state’s very best teachers. Sign up to learn new skills, perfect your current ones or for some friendly competition. Safety is a main priority when shooting sporting clays and you’ll also learn the ins and outs of how to properly handle the gun.  

Take to the air for a breathtaking flight over northwest Montana on a seaplane. Flights take off from the dock just down from the Main Lodge, with sights that include Flathead Lake, the Rocky Mountains and more. While flights are typically an hour long, custom itineraries and routes are available.  

Backcountry Flying Experience
